Mascotte is originally the brand of the Mignot & De Block BV enterprise. This family business from Eindhoven was established as a cigar and cigarette factory in 1858. Just after the Second World War cigarette paper was in short supply and importation was not permitted. Frank Mignot (1910 – 2003) found the solution at a bible publisher’s in Limburg. The fine, thin paper resulted in the first Mascotte cigarette paper. Since then the company, known as BV Micres, is the leader of the Dutch market with this brand. Furthermore, Mascotte sets the pace in filter cigarette-shells, cigarette-shell filling devices and cigarette rolling devices, the so-called Handy apparatuses. Mascotte is also becoming well known internationally.

Mascotte cigarette paper is available everywhere and has hundreds of thousands of users in Holland.

Everybody is familiar with the slogans ‘Mascotte rolls better, sticks better, burns better’ and ‘Mascotte 3 x better’.

Mascotte sets a high value on quality. That’s why only the best natural materials are used for the cigarette paper and the filter cigarette-shells. The Mascotte products are produced in France, Austria and Germany.

In recent years Mascotte has developed many new products. Mascotte Spécial for example is an extra thin, extra strong, perfectly burning cigarette paper that is unique in the world. The new Menthol Filter Cigarette-shells are fitted with a unique, fresh tasting Menthol filter, and the Mascotte Filter Tips have a convenient edge lined with glue so that you can roll your own filter cigarette.

With regard to packaging Mascotte constantly strives to fulfil the consumer’s wishes. This has led to the introduction of the handy 10-Pack cigarette paper. This can be conveniently stored in the kitchen drawer or in the car for when one is on the road. Also a storage box is provided with every pack of 200 cigarette-shells.
